Project Preserve is committed to providing nutritious meal solutions at the lowest cost to Second Harvest’s Partner Agencies and the Feeding America Food Bank Network. In addition to supplying food banks with the staples they need, Project Preserve also offers creative solutions for customization, saving our customers time and money.

Below are some of the products available to food banks through Project Preserve. Product availability varies, so please reach out to your National Account Manager or Contact Project Preserve.

Staple Food Products

Pancake mix, stuffing, grits, and more.

Milk, juice boxes, and more.

Canned and single serve fruit available.
Canned Entrees

Beef stew, soup, spaghetti, chili, and more.
Canned Vegetables

Assorted vegetables available in regular and low/no sodium options.

Cereal bowls, boxes, quick oats, and single serve oatmeal.

Deodorant, shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and more.

Spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, pasta dinners, and more.

Peanut butter, tuna, chunk chicken, canned beans, dry pintos, and more.

White and brown available.
Sauces and Condiments
Spaghetti sauce, pancake syrup, jelly, and more.

Nutri-Grain Bars, peanut butter crackers, Animal Crackers, Cheez-Its, sunflower seeds, trail mix, and multiple whole grain options.
Custom Products
Backpacks & CACFP
Project Preserve BackPacks are made-to-order. Food banks can purchase custom BackPacks to meet specific menu needs for BackPack programs. You can also choose from over 10 breakfast & lunch options of federally reimbursable CACFP menus.
Food Boxes

Food banks can choose from existing food box menus, including disaster/emergency relief, family food boxes, snack boxes, holiday and senior nutrition, or they can customize prepackaged food components into their own food box to fit their needs.
Tray Pack Meals

Tray Packs are offered in a breakfast, lunch or dinner option. These provide a great option to deliver premade meals to clients in need. We offer a huge variety of options - burritos, stir fries, BBQ chicken, wraps, and more.
Boil-in-a-Bag Meals

Recipe customization is available for Boil-in-a-Bag products, offering a nutritious and quick meal. These items can be prepared with minimal effort by volunteers or clients. Options include taco meat, chili, chicken and dumplings, and sloppy joes.
